MEMBERSHIP & KITCHEN USE

Becoming a member of POSFI is a requirement to be able to use the kitchen and its resources.

POSFI Membership
Cost: $250 Annual membership fee

Membership not only gives you access to the kitchen but provides financial support to POSFI. As POSFI is a non-profit organization all funds paid go to support and maintain the kitchen and organization. We all benefit, not just a single user.

Monthly Kitchen Fee
Cost: $100 paid on the 5th of each month.

Your monthly fee gives you access to both Cold & Frozen storage, as well as covering cleaning supplies and other day to day essentials. ALL USERS pay this fee.

Hourly cost for Kitchen Use
Cost: Varies by length of commitment.

All hourly fees paid go toward the operation of the kitchen. Lease, Utilities, Insurance, ect. come from this revenue.

$18 hr for a 12 month commitment
$20 hr for a 6 month commitment
$30 hr for a 4 month commitment
$40 hr for a 2 month commitment
Scheduling and billing

All Kitchen users must carry Liability Insurance naming POSFI as additional insured. The Food Corridor has information on insurance and their collaboration with FLIP (Food Liability Insurance Program.

All Kitchen users must be approved by Panhandle Health or the FDA for the products they produce in the kitchen. If you are making a new product we encourage you to contact Panhandle Heath to find out their requirements.
